• Received ANRF PAIR Grant worth 30,00,000 INR for the subproject “Cluster-Aware Federated Learning (CAFL): Exploiting Subnetwork Insights for Targeted Model Training”. The project consortium consists of 7 partner universities and the total project grant is worth 1,04,43,81,800 INR. I am one of the Co-principle investigators for the complete project, "Innovations in Health and Medical Technologies: Sustainable Health for Resilient Future". Project duration is from Sep 2025 – Oct 2030.
• Received SERB Core Research Grant worth 21,37,949 INR from 25th Jan 2022 – 24th Jul 2025, for the project “Next-Generation Internet of Things Applications Orchestration and Service Provisioning at Fog Networks”. I am the principle investigator of the project.
• Received IoE project grant for RC3 call, worth 49,98,356 INR, for the project "Fog computing framework for monitoring campus flora and fauna using AI/ML". I am the principle investigator of the project. Project duration is from 13th Dec 2021 – 31st Mar 2025.
• Received grant worth 411,000 EUR for the EU H2020 RADON (Rational decomposition and orchestration for serverless computing) project. The project consortium consists of 8 partners and the total project grant is worth 3,998,138 EUR. I am the principle investigator of the project from UT side. I am also involved in the complete project preparation and inception phases. Project duration is from Jan 2019 – Jun 2021.
• Received funding approval for the Estonian Centre of Excellence in ICT Research (EXCITE) worth 4,451,879.26 EUR from Sep 2016 – Mar 2023. I am one of the 16 principle investigators of the project.
• Telia, the biggest telecommunications provider in Baltics, has partially funded our "IoT and Smart Solutions Laboratory". Provided grant and devices worth over 100,000 EUR, in 2016.
• Received PUT personal research grant worth 176,400 EUR from Jan 2014 – Dec 2016, for the project “Mobile and Cloud Computing Laboratory: From Exploiting Cloud in Science to Enabling Internet of Things”. I am the principle investigator of the project.
• Received Estonian national project grant worth 70,000 EUR from Jan 2015 – Dec 2016, for the project “Open language technology cloud infrastructure for enrichment of unstructured open data” along with Peep Kungas, who is the principle investigator of the project.
• Received ETF grant worth 15,600 EUR per year, for 2 years from Jan 2012 – Dec 2013, for the project “Mobile and resource-intensive applications on Hybrid Clouds: Architecture and Frameworks”. I am the principle investigator of the project.

The project consortium consists of 7 partners and the total project grant is worth 1,074,352 EUR. I am the principle investigator of the project from UT side.
