This course is for III Semester students of the Integrated 5-year M. Tech programme in Computer Science. The course provides an introduction to the basic physics of semiconductors and semiconductor devices besides covering fundamental electronic circuits such as rectifiers, oscillators and amplifiers. The course also gives a brief introduction to binary, octal and hexadecimal number systems and logic gates.
Wednesdays: 11:30 - 1:30 (LHC1CR9)
Thursdays: 12:30 - 1:30 (LHC1CR7)
