Programming Methodology Lab (I.M.Tech.)

Timings: Mon 10:30am-1:30pm

In this lab, the primary aim is to write as many programs as possible. Every lab session will count towards marks. In addition, there will be two minors and a major where you will be given problems for which you need to implement the programs and submit the code. In addition, you will be trained in how to debug programs using gdb and writing Makefiles to compile multi source file programs.

Evaluation Policy

The following is the evaluation policy:

Five labs where the program is to be completed in time will be counted towards one minor of 30 marks, each lab carrying 6 marks.
Two minor exams for 30 marks each will be held and the best will be taken for the other minor
Major exam will be for 40 marks.

ASSIGNMENTS

The Lab Assignment Specifications are given for implementation. Any ambiguity needs to be discussed before implementation. Do not make any assumptions.

The array of structures holding the student records is astatic external variable in std.c and can be manipulated only by functions within that file. So, std_main.c cannot directly access and modify or read the contents of this array.
